About Elio

Elio is a beautiful Korean Maltipoo whose name means “sun” in Italian, pronounced “EH-lee-oh.” He has a stunning Tan Point coat with Brindling and white markings. He has an adorable teddy bear face with a cute button nose and big, expressive eyes, along with a fluffy plush coat that makes him look just like a living teddybear.  Add to that his sweet, loving, people-focused personality, and Elio is a darling puppy that will prove to be a perfect addition to most any family!

Personality Testing

We use the Elite Breeder Puppy Personality Testing & Matching to match each puppy to the right family and each family to the right puppy.  Be sure you understand Why Getting A Professionally-Matched Puppy Is So Important.  

We performed Elio's personality testing when he was 7 weeks old and his results came back Sociable-Friendly.

A Sociable-Friendly puppy is a very even-tempered, balanced puppy.  Provided with appropriate socialization, this puppy will generally grow into a well-rounded adult who is adaptable to almost any environment, and very friendly and sociable when he is in environments he is already familiar with.  

At this point in Elio's development, he is a very curious, energetic, loving little guy, who is highly motivated by affection, cuddles, and positive human interactions.  We have already got his training off to a great start, so his new family will simply need to pick up the baton and run with it.

Early Potty Training, Socialization, Family-Rearing & So Much More ...

We put a great deal of time, care, money, and work into our puppies to ensure they are the best pet they can be for you and your family.  

For example, we begin early potty-training with our puppies as soon as they are able to walk.   Raising Potty-Trained Puppies Using Their Natural Instincts explains about the approach we use with our puppies.  Additionally, our puppies are raised in the hustle and bustle of our busy home with all our children and lots of pets, which provides a lot of early socialization and helps them grow into well-adjusted pets.  There are many Benefits of Family-Reared Puppies that help make life easier for you when you bring your fur-baby home. 

Starting at just three days old, our puppies begin a carefully designed enrichment program that goes far beyond the basics. While we incorporate Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), we also utilize our own thoughtfully developed puppy stimulation protocol. This exclusive approach includes a wide range of early sensory, tactile, and environmental exposures to help nurture confident, adaptable puppies. These experiences lay the foundation for a variety of real-world situations. 

We also begin basic command training with each litter. While they won’t have fully mastered these commands before going home, they will have been introduced to key cues like “Sit,” “Down,” “Stay,” and “Come.” This early start gives their new families a helpful foundation to build upon.
