Imperial Korean Malshi

What is an Imperial Korean Malshi Dog?

The Imperial Korean Malshi dog is an extremely rare and exquisite breed made by combining two exceptionally charming and sought-after lines.

The Korean Maltese, which originates from Korea, is known for its babydoll face with a shorter nose, wideset eyes, rounder forehead, smaller size, and reduced tear staining.

The Imperial Shih Tzu, a smaller variation of the standard Shih Tzu, is adored for its forever-puppy look featuring a babydoll face, expressive eyes, and a petite frame. Often referred to as teacup, these Shih Tzus remain compact and irresistibly cute throughout their lives.

Together, the Korean Maltese and Imperial Shih Tzu create the Imperial Korean Malshi dog, a rare and unique companion with breathtaking looks and a sweet, endearing personality.

Imperial Korean Malshi Temperament

The Imperial Korean Malshi is just as heartwarming in temperament as it is in appearance. This charming companion is known for its affectionate, intuitive nature and thrives when surrounded by love and attention. Whether nestled in a cozy lap or prancing happily at your side, the Imperial Korean Malshi dog brings joy and connection to everyday life.

With playful energy, a gentle disposition, and an adaptable personality, it suits a wide variety of homes, from bustling families to quiet single households. It's sweet, emotionally attuned nature, inherited from both parent breeds, enables the Imperial Korean Malshi dog to form strong bonds and remain a loyal, loving presence wherever it goes.

Imperial Korean Malshi Grooming & Coat Care

Imperial Korean Malshis have beautiful long hair that is thick, lush, and silky. To maintain their soft, luxurious appearance and prevent tangles, daily brushing with a pin brush and comb is essential. This keeps their coats clean, comfortable, and in excellent condition whether kept long and luxurious or trimmed short and cute.

Bathing every few weeks helps keep them stay clean without stripping the coat’s natural oils. Their expressive babydoll faces also need daily attention. Eye boogers should be gently combed out using a fine-tooth comb, then wiped clean with a dry cotton round to keep the area clean and reduce staining.

When grooming is done regularly and kept positive, it becomes a great time to bond. These pups enjoy the attention, and a consistent grooming routine helps build trust and connection.
