Ewok's General Information:

About Ewok

Ewok is an absolutely gorgeous little guy with the sweetest personality.  He is super loving and cuddly, playful and happy and will make a wonderful family pet to the right family.  Ewok is a Brindle Sable puppy, with an absolutely stunning, lush beautiful coat.  Typical of the Shih Tzu breed standard, Ewok has an adorable little underbite that just adds to his character.

Ewok was not born into our breeding program.  His breeder was moving and asked me if I could please take him since their new home-owner's association would not allow for the number of dogs he had at the time.  So we bought him and brought him into our home and began working with him.  Below is a run-down of his progress and care while in our home:

• Although he was not potty-trained when we got him, he is now using our potty system perfectly.  
• He has been getting handled and played with regularly by our children as well as getting more socialization with some of our puppies that we are raising as future parent dogs for our program.
• We have been working on desensitizing him to grooming, and he is now doing fantastic with all things grooming.  When he first arrived here, he was very wiggly anytime we tried to do anything near his face or eyes, especially if you brought a comb near his eyes.  Now, he allows us to hold and stroke his face, comb near his eyes, touch and trim near his eyes, etc, and he is a very easy groomer now! 
• We feel he is ready for a new home now and cannot wait to find the perfect family for him.
• Although Ewok did receive one set of vaccinations before he came to us, he has been transitioned to our safe vaccine alternatives to minimize future exposure and prevent any more overdosing.

Early Potty Training, Socialization, Family-Rearing & So Much More ...

We put a great deal of time, care, money, and work into our puppies to ensure they are the best pet they can be for you and your family.

Please Note: Although Ewok was not born into our program, we have implemented many of the same methods with him as we do with our puppies that we raise from birth.  He will come with almost everything our puppies come with, including our comprehensive puppy manual and extensive education, 30-days of free health insurance, lifetime support, etc.  The only things we cannot provide are Embark-tested parents and guaranteed low COI (no inbreeding).  As we do not have full genetic testing on Ewok's parents, we do not have enough information to guarantee him against serious genetic problems.  However, our holistic healthcare education provides a great deal of good information about how to raise him in such a way as to dramatically increase his chances of living a long and healthy life despite his unknown genetics.  Therefore, i f you purchase Ewok and  keep him on the same food and supplements we have him on, keep him at an ideal weight, and provide holistic care for him, we will go ahead and provide our Health Guarantee on him!

Personality Testing

We use the Elite Breeder Puppy Personality Testing & Matching to match each puppy to the right family and each family to the right puppy.  Be sure you understand Why Getting A Professionally-Matched Puppy Is So Important.  

We normally perform personality testing at 7 weeks old, but Ewok was over 7 weeks when we got him.  Because the testing is not really accurate if it is not performed right at 7 weeks old, we have made an educated guess about his personality type based on his behavior and temperament that we have observed with our family, children, other puppies, and our parent dogs since he arrived in our home.
