More About Eagle

Eagle was the second-born of his litter and was a pretty average size for a Havamalt puppy!  He arrived in his sac with his paws up around his face!  It was so cute, if birth can be cute!  Ha ha!  Eagle was nursing 8 minutes after he arrived.  He  has been gaining weight steadily since birth, and is currently thriving!

Eagle appears to be solid white in color.  He has a blue colored collar so you should be able to pick him out from her litter-mates in pictures and videos.

Potty-Training

Eagle is potty-training beautifully and is ready to transition his training into a new home/family.  With a consistent routine, proper environmental set-up, and gentle hand, we expect he will be completely potty-trained very early.  Considering both Maltese and Havanese are known for being difficult to potty-train, we have been working with our Havamalt puppies since they were born and all doing very well!

Personality-Type

Eagle's personality type is Gentle-Cooperative with Shy-Timid tendencies.  We were not surprised by this result at all, as Eagle often is slower to join in play, may sit to the side by himself and watch, and just is not as bold or sociable as many of his siblings are.  A puppy with this personality type will usually develop into a quiet, sweet puppy who loves their people loyally, and is happiest snuggled up with them at home.  Although socialization is still very important with this puppy, he may not be as quick to come out of his shell in new places and around new people.  

A puppy with this personality type is generally a very easy puppy to raise and is often ideal for the first time, inexperienced owner, an older couple or individual who do not want to have to deal with a lot of training, and even a family with small children.  With a consistent structure, safe environment, and loving hand, this puppy is gentle and safe with children.  The biggest concern for a puppy like this is making sure the children are safe and gentle with the puppy, so the experience can be a wonderful one for all parties involved.
