Pricing Policy

The following is our pricing policy for our buyers who do not purchase their puppy through GoodDog.  This policy covers our pricing policy for our Maltese, Havanese, Havamalt & Maltipoo puppies (and any other breeds we may add to our program).

The goal of our pricing policy for our Maltese, Havanese, Havamalt, & Maltipoo puppies (and any other breeds we may add to our program) is to be as fair as possible to everyone on our Waiting List.

Supported by the latest science, technology, and decades of research and experience, we take great pride in working to ensure your puppy will be healthy and an enjoyable canine companion.  With all we put into them, our puppies are the best puppies that money can buy and we price them accordingly.

Our Pricing Policy

  • The price you will pay for your puppy will be based on the price range you selected in our New Owner Questionnaire and/or the price of a specific puppy listed on GoodDog.
  • A $500 Security Deposit is required to secure your position on the Waiting List or to reserve a specific puppy.
  • Once you are on our Waiting List, when a litter is born and we expect to be able to provide a puppy for you from that litter, we will send you an email to confirm that you are ready to receive a puppy.  If you are ready at that time, you will be required to put down a $500 Litter Reservation Deposit within 3 days.  If you are purchasing a puppy that is already available (not through the Waiting List), no Litter Reservation Deposit will be required.
  • When you are offered a puppy and make the decision to accept your puppy, your remaining balance is due at puppy pick-up, meet-up, or delivery, when your puppy is 60 days old (8 weeks and 4 days old).
  • Based on market conditions, we may change our puppy prices from time-to-time.
  • We have no obligation to notify you of price changes, but we are willing to answer inquiries at any time.

Our Security Deposit Policy

  • Your position on our Waiting List is determined by the date we receive your New Owner Questionnaire AND your Waiting List Security Deposit.
  • Your Waiting List Security Deposit guarantees you a puppy as soon as a puppy that matches your preferences is available.
  • Your Litter Reservation Deposit guarantees that we will offer you a puppy from our current litter or litters.
  • Your Waiting List Security Deposit and Litter Reservation Deposit are non-refundable, but will be applied towards the purchase of your new puppy should something unforeseen happen that does not allow us to provide a puppy from the current litter or litters.
  • If you are purchasing a puppy that is available immediately, your Security Deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied towards the purchase of another puppy if you change your mind or should unforeseen circumstances prevent us from providing the original puppy.

Policy On Puppies Boarded With Us Beyond 60 Days

  • The final payment is due at puppy pick-up, meet-up, or delivery, when your puppy is 60 days old (8 weeks and 4 days old).
  • Occasionally - by prior request - we will board a puppy past 60 days (up to the following Friday or Sunday). Because this age is critical for puppy bonding time, we do not usually keep a puppy longer than the Friday or Sunday following the puppy pickup date.
  • On rare occasions - by prior request - we will board a puppy for up to 4 weeks beyond 6 days.  We require a boarding fee of $100/week for puppies boarded with us beyond 60 days old.  We also require that the full boarding fee and the puppy's remaining balance be paid in full by 60 days old.  At this point, puppy ownership will be transferred to you.
  • Activation of our Puppy Take Home Offer from Trupanion - that provides 30-Days of free health insurance on the puppy - is also required if we will be boarding your puppy past 60 days old.  Health Insurance must remain active while the puppy is boarded with us.
  • While every safety precaution is taken, any puppy kept with us past 60 days old is done so at the owner's risk, and we cannot be held responsible if something unforeseen happens to the puppy.  In the case of an emergency during this time, vet bills or other unexpected necessary expenses shall be the new owner's responsibility.
